Investment boosts Keele Management Centre facilities
A major £300,000 investment is set to boost facilities for business travellers at Keele Management Centre in Staffordshire. The centre, which provides accommodation and meeting rooms for conference and event delegates at Keele University, will see a full renovation of 18 bedrooms.
Much of the renovations are well underway and set for completion date of May 2015. When finished all rooms will have enhanced en-suite shower facilities, ample workspace, and upgraded in-room entertainment in the form of large flat screen TVs. This, along with the free Wi-Fi and ground floor lounge bar already on offer, will ensure the centre provides everything today’s business traveller requires.
Marcus Wilson, head of marketing at Keele University, says: “With the summer months a busy time for conferences at Keele University, now is a great time to invest in facilities at Keele Management Centre. In fact, one of the first large groups to make use of the facelift will be the organising committee for the UK Corporate Games, who will be resident while the Games are held at Keele University and other venues around Staffordshire in June this year.
“The quality and additional comfort of these upgrades adds to the convenience of being on the doorstep of the University campus and the 19-Century Grade II listed conference venue Keele Hall, in the heart of the Staffordshire countryside on the Keele University campus.”
For more information please speak with the team from Keele on stand number 17 at the Academic Venue Show on 20 May or visit www.keele-conference.com or call 01782 732 020.
